Good news on the accreditation front – we are pleased to announce that we passed our annual SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval) audit with flying colours. SALSA is a food-safety standard written by experienced food safety experts; it reflects both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of 'best practice' of professional food buyers.
The certification is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they can produce safe and legal food and are continually committed to meeting the rigorous SALSA standard requirements.
As SALSA is one of the few generally accepted/recognised? accreditation schemes about, we’re delighted that all the hard work paid off!
